The Laurel-Thomas Young Collection mostly documents the life of "Tommy" Young from 1937 to 1948 while he was a teenager and student at State Teachers College in Salisbury. The collection includes a photograph of the 1937 Salisbury Indians, Eastern Shore League baseball team, a scrapbook of S.T.C. baseball clippings and dance cards, and two issues of The Holly Leaf. Also included is a postcard from Salisbury State University and a metal button which reads "Salisbury State Go Gulls."

Also included is a digitized copy of Mr. Griffith's application to be inducted into the Eastern Shore Baseball Hall of Fame in 2001 as well as a the copy of the program from the induction event.
